While building an excellent company and leading your people through business is a noble calling with much responsibility, when asked what is most important in our lives most men will say family is our top priority.
So why are we Tempted to Cheat our Family?
No matter how effective we may be as business leaders, we’re all replaceable at work. However, we’re the only husband and father in our family. While we may want to delegate the burdens of leading a family sometimes, that’s not an option if we’re to bring honor to our position and our family for generations of success.
Even though we love our wife and want to be a good dad it is just not easy when we have seemingly endless stream of things to accomplish at work. It’s tempting to pour ourselves out all day, then come home with barely anything left to give. Strange isn’t it…we can end up giving the least of ourselves to the people we love the most. Can you relate??
